It's been a very busy autumn this year. First we exhibited the "The sea and other things" in Gallery Albin Art for two weeks in Oslo. We drove with our car packed to the brim with photographs over to to Denmark via the ferry from Harwich. From Denmark we drove endless hours to Oslo via Sweden to our Oslo flat. There was a healthy turn out of friends and relatives on our opening day and many pictures were snapped up on that first day. Julian and I took turns to man the exhibition and in the afternoon I photographed the Norwegian families of Oslo. Here you can see an brief exhibition film I took with my dinky little sony camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss78fY4kk8c&feature=feedu.
We since caught Eurostar in to Paris to see the famous Paris Photo Exhibition 2011. Art Galleries specialising in fine art photography from all over the world exhibits their current artists.Fine Art Photography is now big business. Old masters are exhibited along side unusal artist from China and Japan. The images are selling for thousands of pounds.
Here I have put together a small slideshow of the images that made most impression. They were again taken my "toy " Sony camera and are just pictures of pictures. As the exhibition was held in the Grand Palais on the Champs Elysees - there was a great deal of window reflection on the pictures. I hope you get inspired :-)
